These selections amplify the interpretation of the images according to a new “horizontal” logic and have the sole purpose of adhering faithfully to the emotional and humanistic experience of the author during his anthropology surveys, clearly denying the documentary attitude.
The affinity that triggers a dialogue between these photographs comes exclusively from the author’s personal diaries.

Selection “Mi taccio” is a collection of images resulting from long journeys between juvenile prisons in Nicaragua, war scenarios in Africa, drug trafficking in Brazil, psychiatric hospitals in Estonia and the outskirts of the author’s hometown, Rome. These images represent the hardest moments of each of these experiences, those moments in which the author has learned the value of silence.
